About the RSAM Team

"When it rains, we stand all night." Said to a C-Span reporter by a Haitian father who survived the January 2010 earthquake describing his family's living conditions in a tent provided by a relief organization.

RSAM was established by CVIE to design and provide inexpensive, simple, real solutions used during real emergencies, disaster events, or whenever temporary structures are needed. RSAM pre-drilled, re-cut kits provide comfort, security, and clean, dry shelter/storage in disaster and poverty prone areas worldwide, or any temporary need. RSAM is the most economical "hard" structure solution availble.

The RSAM HK081208 shelter kit (below) is sized to allow its crate or bundle to be carried by 6 to 8 individuals so no equipment is needed to load/unload or transport the shelter to an assembly site making RSAM suitable for any location so long as people can walk to it.

Pictured above is our flagship HK081208-001 8' X 12' structure (minus its plastic wall sheathing and roof membrane) with its 8' high walls. It easily sleeps 5 to 6 adults. It has 2 large tabletops and 4 shelves that fold against the walls when not needed. The solid, sturdy construciton allows hammocks to be mounted so infants and small children can sleep off of the floor.
